Imagine investing a week ministering alongside a group of Cal Poly students on an international missions trip – working together in developing campus ministries on universities in San Salvador. As an American university professor you have a unique platform to be used by God in the lives of both Salvadoran students and faculty.
This past Spring Break, two Cal Poly professors joined 29 students from campus on a week-long missions trip. They had opportunities to speak to Salvadoran students and faculty in classrooms, in small groups, and one on one. Just as significantly, they were able to build into and impact the lives of the Cal Poly students who were part of the trip.
Faculty Commons is partnering with Campus Crusade for Christ in building a nationally-led campus ministry in El Salvador. Matias Delgado is the most influential university in this small country. It’s our desire to see the next generation of their nation’s leaders reached for Jesus Christ.
We’d like to extend an invitation for you to join us this Spring Break – or later this summer. Please prayerfully consider how God might want to use your position as a professor to influence Salvadoran students, professors – and Cal Poly students with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Spring Break 2012: March 17th -24
Cost: $1200 subject to current airfare costs – scholarship funds available.
