Sunday September 17th 3pm-6pm Welcome Back BBQ and Potluck with faculty, spouses, and kids at the O’Brien’s. Contact us for the location and and more info. 

Wednesday September 27 Monthly Lunch Connection. 11:10-12:00pm OR 12:10-1:00pm. A new and informal monthly lunch gathering to connect with other faculty on campus. Stop by anytime between 11:10-1:00pm, or a few minutes or an hour. UU 218.

Late September/ Early October: Welcome Gift Bags – welcoming new colleagues with a gift bag, featuring a coffee mug, snacks, welcome note, and copy of Mere Christianity.


Beginning Early October (and continuing throughout the year) G-3’s. G-3’s – groups of three – are faculty peer discipleship groups that meet for an hour three times a quarter to pray, discuss a short article or passage. Please contact us if you’d like to join one.

Wednesday October 25 New Faculty Welcome Lunch. 11:10am-12:00pm OR 12:10-1:00pm. This is an opportunity for Christian faculty to welcome new faculty members over an informal lunch. UU 220.

Wednesday November 29 Monthly Lunch Connection. 11:10-12:00pm OR 12:10-1:00pm. Similar to September 27, this is a new monthly get together to connect with other faculty on campus. Stop by anytime between 11:10am-1:00pm. UU 218.

Tuesday January 23 Veritas Forum 7:30pm-9:00pm. This year, the Veritas Forum is expanding to two nights, both in the Performing Arts Center (the PAC). The first evening our speakers will be dialoguing on the topic “Human Exceptionalism: Can natural science explain everything about what it means to be human?” Details forthcoming. 

Wednesday January 24  Veritas Forum in the Performing Arts Center (the PAC) 7:30pm-9:00pm. The second evening our invited guests Dr. Josh Swamidass and Dr. Hugh Ross will be dialoguing on the topic “Human Origins: the role of God and evolution.”

Tuesday April 24: Worldwide Day of Prayer
Join students, campus ministry staff, and other faculty as we pray for each other, the campus, the community, and the world. Location on campus TBA.

Sunday June 17 – Sunday July 1: Student/Faculty Missions Trips – East Asia and Middle East. As an American university professor, you have an incredible platform – especially in this part of the world. We’ll be ministering alongside Cal Poly students, working to meet English speaking students, share the gospel, and build nationally-led campus ministries. Scholarship funds available.
